The Mothers & More Pasadena meetings are a core service of the chapter. Meeting topics
are designed to address the many aspects of ourselves as people, not just as mothers.
The topics fall into one of four categories: Personal Growth, Professional Growth,
Consciousness Raising, and Mothers as Mothers. The meetings often include guest
speakers or open discussion, and are facilitated by Mothers & More members.

August 7 — Book Night
Bring home a new book! The first part
of this meeting will be a book swap. Bring a book (adult, not children’s, fiction, nonfiction, whatever you’d like) that you have read, enjoyed,
and don’t mind passing on. We’ll play a brief game and everyone will go home with a new book. Then,
we we’ll spend the second half of the meeting discussing children’s literature. As parents, we are always looking for new and interesting books to share
with our kids. Bring your suggestions and hear what others recommend! Led by Emily D.

4 - Business Meeting
A meeting to discuss our chapter, its finances, and a few other details! We will cover the budget for the upcoming year and discuss how our money will be spent. If you are a newer member, this is a great way to learn a little more about how our
organization operates and share your fresh perspective. If you’re a “seasoned”
member, we want to hear what your experience and thoughts are. And if we finish
a few minutes early, we can always head out for margaritas…! Led by Amy

November 6 - Ah-ha Moments in Motherhood
Ever have a “light-bulb going off in you head” moment that
changed the way you looked at motherhood and your life? A key moment that “woke
you up”? Motherhood has a tendency to do that and tonight we’ll discuss
what those moments were and what kind of wisdom we can pull together from each other’s experiences. We’ll see if there’s a common path to those moments and explore if there are ways to help share
those insights with other moms and the world at large. Led by Kim T.

on a list prepared by Shannon S. Bring a small project that you want to work on—addressing envelopes, scrapbooking,
paying bills, knitting—and sit with friends while discussing some of your personal favorites. It will be a relaxing, fun, and productive time! Led by Shannon
